What if English isn’t our team member’s first language?
When team members are required to deliver customer service in anything other than their native tongue, there can be many obstacles to creating an immersive guest experience. A simple translation is often nowhere near enough to allow team members to really engage with their audience. This highlights particular issues, especially those of confidence.
We have specific modules that are designed to overcome this common issue. In this instance team members will learn how to;
• Prepare a talk/script
• Storyboard dialogue in their own language
• Understand how regional inflection can affect translation
• Deal with questions and confidently deviate
• Engage with the public with confidence
