Specialist training for front line team members working in the leisure attraction industry
The Business Creative team have managed the creation and front-line delivery of entertainment and events in some of the world’s most captivating entertainment attractions and destinations. Whilst each project is totally unique, each is managed with the same care and commitment to delivering a safe, engaging and memorable visitor experience.
This industry specific experience has led us to develop specialised training packages that
address common pitfalls and empower our front-line team members to go further than simply communicating. We train our teams to, not only communicate, but furthermore to engage.
Who is this training for?
Creating a sense of fun and adventure in your attraction should be a continuous and immersive experience. From the friendly and authentic greeting at the ticket booth, right through to the delivery of expressive scripts and authoritative (but friendly) health and safety instructions. In a fully themed environment, the language, body language, eye contact, pace, pitch, volume, and inflection of their words are all vital to the success of your business.
Our effective training packages have been developed for:
• Ride Attendants
• Education Assistants
• Entertainment Staff
• Restaurant and Bar Staff
• Customer Services
• Retail Staff
• Anyone with a customer-facing role
What does our training cover?
We are not a ‘catch-all’ training company. The areas in which we are confident our training will make an impact are specific to our experience. If you are looking for improvements in the following areas, we can guarantee our tailored training packages will improve your results:
• Presentation Skills & Public Speaking
• Non-scripted Public Relations (chatting to your visitors!)
• Theatrical Direction for Improvisation & Script
• Authoritative Script Delivery (inc. H&S)
• Understanding Communication – Understanding Engagement
What if English isn’t our team member’s first language?
When team members are required to deliver customer service in anything other than their native tongue, there can be many obstacles to creating an immersive guest experience. A simple translation is often nowhere near enough to allow team members to really engage with their audience. This highlights particular issues, especially those of confidence.
We have specific modules that are designed to overcome this common issue. In this instance team members will learn how to;
• Prepare a talk/script
• Storyboard dialogue in their own language
• Understand how regional inflection can affect translation
• Deal with questions and confidently deviate
• Engage with the public with confidence
Following our training they will LOOK confident, FEEL confident and BE confident.
Our training methods
What we teach will transform how your team members approach public speaking both physically and emotionally. Our methods are unique and fun; we believe in delivering positivity and encouragement in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere. They may even discover hidden strengths they didn’t know existed.
A positive customer experience is what ensures repeat and new bookings. It has never been more crucial to get this experience absolutely right. It’s all about being dynamic and authentic…our training reflects that.
Why The Business Creative?
